Mike at Palo Alto Bimmer recommended LTBL's DIY kit to restore the lens on my '98 BMW 740i."
He said "it is the only lens repair kit that works." I haven't tried others so I can't say - but this one does work.
Yes - you can buy your own 320/600/1200 grit sand paper and polish the lens yourself - but the reason LTBL is worth it. It's their spray on UV protection. This seems to be the "secret sauce".

I attempted to restore my headlights over a year ago using methods I had discovered online; needless to say, the end result was sub-par.
